This series was completed in 2016 as apart of Lane's Schooling at The Savannah College of Art and Design. The Knowledge of color relation, value, and hue where integral lessons that helped to inform all the work that has come after. "You must first learn the rules so that you can break them correctly. Understanding these basic principles that the practice of painting was built apon has allowed me to make informed decisions on all of my work, from the performance pieces, to the installation and even the non objective abstract pieces."
